During all of man's history we have decorated our homes and dwelling; cave paintings, wild flowers and berries hanging or in something.  Pottery and mosaics and wall drawings (no longer caves), and carvings from any material handy.   Probably even more so today accessories are an integral and important part of what makes our home.  Accessories, the trimmings and flourishes, we put around our home not only reflect those who live there but also sets the mood in each room (and outside).
